Cursor on Target (CoT)
Abstract
CoT is a simple, extensible, 'What, When, Where' (W3) XML message format for interconnecting tactical information systems. The CoT suite consists of the W3 base schema, 14 tailored sub-schemas, and a set of S/W plug-ins and translators that faciliate machine to machine (M2M) transmission of C2, ISR, and situational awareness data at reduced cost compared with traditional integration methods.
