Non-Invasive Warming and Cooling Device (NIWCD)

Abstract

Single device to provide therapeutic temperature control during treatment and movement of patient from point of injury through the continuum of care. The mortality in combat casualties with hypothermia is double that of normothermic casualties with similar injuries.
