Combat Critical Care Engineering
Abstract
This effort conducts basic science studies of vital sign (e.g. heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen concentration) responses to trauma as predictors of medical outcomes and as a basis for developing life-saving interventions. This effort also conducts basic science studies to support development of technologies to preserve function of vital organs following traumatic injury.
