T-38A/B Low-Cost Avionics Modification Program (LAMP)
Abstract
LAMP will replace the current Attitude Director Indicator (ADI) and Horizontal Situation Indicator (HSI), which have low Mean Times Between Failure (MTBF). Ongoing LAMP activity may either refurbish or replace other navigation components, to include the Attitude Gyro Control Assembly, Rate Switching Gyro, Rate Gyro Transmitter, Servo-Amplifier, and Flight Director Computer.
