Airframe Component Improvement Program
Abstract
Included in the Airframe Component Improvement Program are the continued development and flight testing of the Advanced Chinook Rotor Blade (ACRB) and development of advanced flight control and drive train components. The ACIP will also assess potential improvements to the electrical system, fuel system, and structural improvements for improved aircraft performance, aircraft weight reduction, and reduction of O&S costs.
