SEWIP Increment 2
Abstract
The SEWIP Block 2 program is developing an upgraded antenna, receiver, and combat system interface for SLQ-32. The upgrades are necessary in order to pace the threat, improving detection, accuracy, and mitigation of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). Beginning in FY11, development of SEWIP Block 3 will commence to add Electronic Attack capability. Future Budget Submissions will report SEWIP Block 3 RDT&E under a separate PU, in PE 0604757N. NOTE: FY 11 funding was reduced to fund higher Navy priorities.
