Abstract

For effective and efficient Information Warfare (IW) software development and constant professional development, software developers require a dynamic and agile workspace and equipment that keeps pace with emerging technology. Development and testing networks at all classifications are required. Driven by intelligence analysis, vulnerability identification and reverse engineering in a laboratory environment that makes use of virtual, emulated and live systems is the necessary first step to developing any capability. Agile development processes deliver usable capabilities after short sprint cycles. Capabilities are tested in controlled environments ranging from a lab to Fleet exercises and demonstrations. This budget item funds: - research and development activities - intelligence analysis and linguistic support - reverse engineering and vulnerability assessment - radio frequency (RF) testing - program office support - Agile/development operations expertise and training
