Electronic Warfare / Information Operations (IO) Countermeasure Capability Research & Development

Abstract

Develops and uses modeling and simulation techniques to prototype and test emergent waveforms. Funds support additional site infrastructure updates for collection efforts, extend technical understanding, continue capability development, and deliver stand-alone Prototypes to test and integrate waveforms for countering adversary systems. In addition, conducts research operations to provide Strategic Indications and Warnings (I&W) and OPINTEL analysis (Details held at a higher classification level). IO Countermeasure Capability R&D processes used to develop, test, prototype, and integrate electronic attack wave forms are nearly identical to Maritime Cryptologic Systems (MCS-21), involve its own unique set of signal types .
