Laser Vision/VAMP

Abstract

The Vibrometry Advanced Mode Processor (VAMP) program develops advanced algorithms for processing data provided by laser vibrometry sensors to demonstrate prototype pilot Aided Target Recognition software. VAMP will leverage ability of active electro-optic sensors to sense micro-displacements of operating machinery to measure the resulting frequency spectrum. The program will assess utility for air-to-ground CID. FY19 - VAMP is conducting a data collection campaign to identify salient target features. FY20 - VAMP will apply AiTR algorithms to determine how well the technology can separate target classes.
