Fleet Integration
Abstract
Provide support for Fleet operations and mission support to enable the conduct of sustained BMD operations; provide capability analysis in response to Geographic Combatant Commanders (COCOM) and Fleet Commander Requests for Analysis and Information (RFA/RFIs); provide operational and exercise support of deployed Aegis BMD capabilities; advocate warfighter capabilities and threat requirements developed from gap analysis, warfighter engagements, and fleet feedback; provide Doctrine, Organization, Training, materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, and Facilities support to Aegis BMD baseline development. Recurring Accomplishments: - Provide system performance analysis in response to RFA/RFIs from Geographic COCOMs and Fleet Commanders, including assessments of Aegis Combat System capabilities against new and evolving threats. - Execute a warfighter feedback process to collect, organize, assess and disseminate warfighter feedback from combat system operators and technicians; shipboard leadership, Fleet and COCOM staffs, and the warfighter training community to identify system issues to support enhancement and to support the definition and development of future Aegis BMD baseline capabilities. - Review, define, and develop Joint and Fleet Doctrine and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for incorporation of Aegis BMD capability transition to warfighter and baseline acceptance into MDA OCB. - Support event planning, event participation, and provide Subject Matter Expert support to exercises, wargames, and ground test. - Develop and maintain system M&S for all Aegis BMD baseline variants to support joint and allied exercise and wargames. - Define, develop, and maintain a prioritized list of warfighter capabilities and provide requirements definition for warfighter capabilities in support of Aegis BMD development efforts. - Develop an annual prioritized list of warfighter threats in support of Aegis BMD baseline requirements. - Support the development of the Aegis BMD Handbook and support definition of warfighter acceptance requirements for Aegis BMD baselines certification and OCB assessment. - Develop Aegis BMD training simulations and scenarios to support shipboard training including BMD Qualification and higher level exercises. Maintain training scenarios for legacy Aegis Combat Training System and Advanced Training Domain (ATD). - Develop and maintain Aegis BMD Mission Planner (MP) re-host laptops for legacy baselines to support Fleet Maritime Operation Centers operational planning Specific and/or unique accomplishments to each FY are as follows:
