THAAD Program Support
Abstract
In FY 2013, this activity provided maintenance and transportation as well as developed and maintained THAAD training devices. It also provided funding to support the THAAD embedded Army Hybrid Cell which is the staff and internal operating budget that performs and executes the scope of the Program Support Items activity. The Army Hybrid cell is a separate staff from the Program Operations and is composed of combined MDA and Army personnel providing Doctrine, Training, Leadership, Organization, Materiel, Soldier (DTLOMS) support for the THAAD system. In FY 2014 the maintenance and transportation efforts as well as funding for the Army Hybrid Cell were transferred to Operations and Maintenance, Defense Wide (0100D) for sustainment. In FY 2015, Program Support includes efforts such as communications and interoperability, safety and mission assurance and growth reliability verification.
