TRAINING SYSTEMS
Abstract
This activity improves mission effectiveness and safety by applying both simulation and instructional technology to the design of affordable education and training methods and systems. Improved training efficiency and cost-effectiveness is achieved by applying operations research, modeling and simulation, and instructional, cognitive, and computer sciences to the logistics, development, delivery, evaluation, and execution of training. The decrease in funding from FY 2009 to FY 2010 results from completion of research to enhanced human performance in networked environments.
