Explore and develop multiscale modeling techniques to support fundamental studies of electronic and structural materials properties from the atomistic to the continuum. Resulting models are needed to design/ develop materials for more efficient, longer lifetime sensors and power and energy devices, and lighter materials for vehicle and soldier protection..
