Data Compression
Abstract
Develop data compression/decompression capabilities for Global Hawk Complex Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data to facilitate real/near-real communications to a ground station. Investigate application of model-based compression to other DoD IMINT/MASINT sensor data (i.e., detected SAR, GMTI, Spectral, EO/IR, LIDAR, Video) and ground architecture.
