LGM-30G Payload Transporter Replacement (PTR)

Abstract

Designs and develops the capabilities necessary to replace the current Payload Transporter tractor and trailer, mitigating emerging threat technologies and methods. The PTR emplaces, extracts, and transports the MM III reentry system, propulsion system rocket engine, and missile guidance set. The new PTR design increases safety and security during transport activities and improves maintenance operations.
