Neutral Particle Beam
Abstract
The NPB is a space-based, directed energy capability for homeland defense, providing a defense for boost phase and mid-course phase. A beam of neutral particles bombards its target with energy sufficient to disrupt, incapacitate, or kill the threat. Specific and/or unique planned accomplishments to each FY are as follows:
