Abstract
Chemical and Biological Stand-off Detection Technology: Emphasis on the detection and identification of chemical and biological threats to include NTAs in near real time at a distance from the detector. Future programs focus on the improvement of algorithms, excitation sources, and detector elements to increase range, reduce false positives, increase sensitivity, and reduce cost.
