LGM-30G Fast Rising B-Plug Service Life Extension Program (FRBP SLEP)

Abstract

The Fast Rising B-Plug (FRBP) provides security functions for the Personnel Access System (PAS) of the Launch Facilities (LFs). It is a 14,000 pound cylinder with 12 locking pins used to deny/delay access to intruders during LF maintenance activities. This effort includes critical hardware and software modifications to address high obsolescence risk and reliability issues affecting the operational wings. Note: Due to a database issue, FRBP SLEP does not reflect $1.5 million realignment of funds from FRBP SLEP to FT3. Correct Fiscal Year 2021 amount is $14.379 million.
