Coalition Warrior Interoperability Demonstration (CWID)
Abstract
Primary OUTCOME (objective) for this effort is to improve overall management, oversight and operational support to DoD acquisition entities seeking the capabilities of new, commercial technology that can fill existing gaps in the DoD C2ISR infrastructure while expanding coalition team building with NATO and Five Eyes nations, other Coalition Partners, and US military/defense agencies. The primary outputs and efficiencies to be realized are increased support to DoD Acquisition community identifying and assessing commercial capabilities that improve coalition command, control and coordination for both conventional and irregular warfare operations in the following areas: - capabilities that improve leader centric, net-enabled operations; - capabilities that enhance coalition battle space situational awareness; - abilities that enhance coalition logistics planning and nation - capabilities that enhance coalition, military, government agency, international organization and non-governmental organization partnership - building capabilities; - capabilities that improve secure information sharing between disparate security domains and communities of interest in an operational environment; - capacities that improve centralized command, decentralized control for irregular / hybrid warfare units
