Alternate Ejection Seat Study
Abstract
JPATS requested a study to assess the existing issues with the current seat, other potential options for the T-6 ejection seat, and what modifications would be required to integrate an alternate ejection seat option into the existing one. The purpose of this study was to determine the cost to buy and install an upgraded T-6 seat and an estimate of the life cycle costs based on the remaining service life of the aircraft.
