TRAINING TECHNOLOGIES
Abstract
Applied research to enhance the Navy's ability to "train as they fight" in classroom settings, simulated environments, and during deployment to operate effectively in complex, high stress, information-rich, and ambiguous environments of modern warfare. Improved efficiency and cost-effectiveness is achieved by applying operations research, modeling and simulation, and instructional, cognitive, and computer sciences to the development, delivery, evaluation, and execution of training and education. To prevent duplication of effort, research is coordinated with other Services via the Human Systems Community of Interest.
