Engineered Technologies for Risk Mitigation and Management of Perfluorooctane Sulfonate and Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOS/PFOA) on Army Installations (USACE)

Abstract

Demonstrate and validate technologies such as 3D printed composite structures and advanced materials for remediation and monitoring of PFAS, novel methods for PFAS destruction, rapid risk -based classification and characterization computational models, and monitoring and extraction technologies including PFAS sensors.
