Investigate platform, aerodynamic, actuation, transmission, and control technologies for handheld autonomous UAS. Handheld autonomous UAS willprovide small units with significantly increased tactical mobility and deployability by extending soldier perception to real-time local Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) with handheld organic assetsthat help to minimize the supporting infrastructure needed for deployment.
