M-Code Hosted Payload

Abstract

The initial studies, prototyping, and experiments will explore size, weight, power, and cost (SWAP-C) requirements of potential payloads, the level of broadcast power as received on the ground, advanced signal capabilities, the needed modifications that will allow current and future GPS ground control systems to communicate with these payloads, and how best to upgrade GPS user equipment with minimal impact on cost and downtime to existing GPS users.
