Cryo-cooler for Electro-Optic Sensors (Air Force)

Abstract

This project tests a new cryo-cooler technology for application to advanced infrared sensor systems for airborne platforms. This technology significantly increases reliability and reduces life cycle costs. If successful, this technology will transition into F-35 Electro-Optic Distributed Aperture System sensor. Laboratory testing occurred 3Q FY 2020. System integration occurred in 4Q FY 2020. Test report and close out report completes in 1Q FY 2021 with FY 2020 funds.
