Abstract
Efforts to ensure the producibility of the developmental materiel system, item, or component. Involves engineering tasks necessary to ensure timely, efficient, and economic production of essential materiel and is primarily of a planning nature. Includes efforts related to development of the Technical Data Package (TDP), quality assurance (QA) plans, and special production processes to assess producibility.
