F-15 Digital Color Displays

Abstract

The DCD program replaces 1980s-era low-resolution color and monochrome analog F-15E displays with modern, high-resolution digital color displays. The new displays fully realize the potential of Air Force investments in current and future sensor capabilities to include: modern AESA radar, advanced targeting pod, ASQ-236 Reece pod, Link-16/MIDS-JTRS situational display, EPAWSS, and advanced Combat Identification systems. Enhanced sensor data display capabilities will significantly enhance aircrew situational awareness and vastly improve targeting effectiveness and threat warning.
