Blue Dart III
Abstract
A focused experiment exploring the asymmetric attack threat posed by unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs) built using publicly available information and low cost, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) components. Independent red teams consisting of college students with little or no maritime experience were sponsored in order to demonstrate the capability of educated, motivated individuals to design and develop UUV homemade devices to meet specific mission profiles.
