Soldier/Small Unit Ballistic and Blast Protection
Abstract
This effort matures and demonstrates Soldier systems level modeling, test devices, protocols and technologies to improve Warfighter survivability against blast and ballistic (B&B) threats. Work in this project is fully coordinated with PEs 0602786A/Project H98 (Warfighter Technology), 0602618/Project 61 (Ballistics Technology) and 0602787A/Project 878 (Medical Technology). Demonstrated technologies transition to Product Manager-Soldier Protection and Individual Equipment and/or industry partners.
