LGM-30G Pendulous Integrated Gyroscopic Accelerometer Build Equipment Replacement (PIGA BER)
Abstract
The Missile Guidance Set (MGS) repair is dependent on the proper functioning of the PIGA build equipment. The PIGA build and test equipment used at the repair facility is well over twenty years old and is becoming unsustainable due to obsolescence issues. This program will modify or replace the Digital Pickoff Alignment station, Electrical Alignment stations, Alignment Test stations, a Torque Test station, a Temperature Probe Calibration station, Fluid Fill stations and a Slip Ring/Module Test station.
