Modular Integrated Kitchen System (MIKS)
Abstract
Design a standardized mounting system for all Galley equipment to significantly reduce technical labor skills required to complete deck modifications. Modular Integrated Kitchen System (MIKS) will standardize electrical and water requirements, enhance procurement options, decrease operating and support (O&S) costs, and increase the speed of installing new technologies into the Galley/Scullery areas.
