Human-robot/AI interactions

Abstract

This effort designs and develops systems involving physical and cognitive levels of interactions between humans and robots, with the use of reinforcement learning (an area of ML research) from human feedback, learning from demonstration, and safe human-aware controllers. Work is conducted in collaboration with university partners to advance autonomous mobility as well as other areas of ground platform technologies in propulsion, survivability, powertrain, etc. The benefit of this effort is improvements to machine learning and artificial intelligence with human-robot interactions.
