6) CALS - Subsystem (Module) Prototype Manufacturing
Abstract
Development of Subsystem (Module) prototypes ensuring integration and connectivity between modules as a general system layout. This includes raw and semi-fabricated material plus purchased parts materials, fabrication, processing, subassembly, final assembly, reworking modification, and installation of parts and equipment, power plants, electronic equipment, and other items (including Government-Furnished equipment [GFE]), and the proving of such equipment and instruments for the specified subsystem prototype (Module).
