Collective Judgement Formation

Abstract

This effort establishes the underpinning science needed to understand how humans receive, process, and ultimately accept and reject information that leads to the formation of judgments. Individual and social constructs, the role of bias, and other cognitive and environmental factors will be incorporated. Research will address synthetic forms of intelligence, the speed and scale of information sharing, and integrating human and machine intelligence.
