Cursor on Target (CoT)
Abstract
CoT is an extensible, 'What, When, Where' (W3) XML message format for interconnecting tactical information systems. The CoT suite consists of the W3 base schema, 14 tailored sub-schemas, and a set of S/W plug-ins and translators that faciliate machine to machine (M2M) transmission of C2, ISR, and situational awareness data at reduced cost compared with traditional integration methods.
