Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Coherent Change Detection (CCD) for Thunderstorm

Abstract

Participation of tactical, near real time SAR CCD capability in Thunderstorm Spiral 4 exercise. SAR/CCD utilizes complex algorithms to detect minute changes in terrain, infrastructure, troop movement, and other objects over time in imagery gleaned from two passes over the same path by a synthetic aperture radar.
