New Long Range Advanced Scout Surveillance System (LRAS3)
Abstract
This effort matures and demonstrates sensor technologies that provide reconnaissance crews the ability to rapidly detect, identify, and respond to hybrid threats beyond their current tactical capability to include integration of third-generation forward looking infrared (FLIR) with low cost optics, multi-function laser module enabling range finding, marking and pointing, rapid detection of threat optical systems, precision target location, and advanced image processing and aided target recognition algorithms.
