Underbody Blast Testing
Abstract
The UBB Testing will provide an understanding of the biomechanics of skeletal injuries that occur in a combat vehicle UBB event involving a landmine or IED, and the biomedical basis for the development of a Warrior-representative blast test manikin and associated biomedically-validated injury criteria that can be used to characterize dynamic events and injury risks for LFT&E crew survivability assessments and vehicle development efforts to better protect Warriors from UBB threats.
