Autonomous Robotics Integration

Abstract

Integrate technology on unmanned ground vehicle test beds and conduct extensive field evaluation and technology characterization to establish improved capability for near autonomous UGVs. Leverage algorithms being conducted under DARPA sponsored research, e.g., Learning Applied to Ground Robotics (LAGR). Conduct regular, periodic evaluation at Ft. Indiantown Gap, PA, and other military facilities that will stress the technology in complex environments to further focus CTA sponsored research, assess performance, and provide the opportunity for US Army Training and Doctrine Command to engage in the early development of the tactics, techniques, and procedures required for successful utilization of unmanned systems in future conflicts.
