Damage Control Resuscitation
Abstract
This effort supports work required to validate safety and effectiveness of drugs and medical procedures to control or stop bleeding, maintain metabolism (the chemical processes that are required to maintain life) minimize harmful inflammation after major trauma preserving tissue function, and prevent or minimize secondary organ failure (including brain and spinal cord injury).
