Airdrop/Aerial Delivery Research and Technology

Abstract

Beginning in FY13, this effort is renamed from Precision Aerial Delivery Enhancements to Airdrop/Aerial Delivery Research and Technology. The effort merges with the Enabling Airdrop Research and Technologies to provide complementary investigations of technologies for enhanced payload extraction and subsequent gliding capabilities, improves delivery accuracy of varying load weights, and investigates technologies for improved insertion safety and security for airborne personnel.
