Strategic Studies
Abstract
Naval War College (NWC) conducts research in strategic studies in response to tasking from the Navy and Combatant Commanders (COCOMS). NWC also hosts the activities of the CNO's Strategic Studies Group (SSG). The CNO SSG is a select group of senior naval officers handpicked by the CNO, who report to him in the development of revolutionary war fighting and operational concepts, such as Sea Strike and FORCEnet.
