Small Combat Unit Load Reduction
Abstract
Identify technologies to improve Soldier and Small Unit mobility and endurance. Analyze reductions in physical load and load related injuries as well as impacts to cognitive behavior and mission success. Conduct concept and technology assessments of components and subsystems or systems models and demonstrate general military utility when applied to different types of military techniques. Work in this effort is fully coordinated with all other tasks in this PE. Beginning in FY13, the results from this effort will transition to Soldier/Small Unit Integrated Protection and Load Management.
