TDL Planning, Analysis, and Monitoring (TDL PAM)
Abstract
The Air Force has a requirement for a TDL network planning, analysis and monitoring capability. TDL PAM's operational requirements are to support the Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) in the Air and Space Operations Center (AOC); Regional Interface Control Officer (RICO) in the Control Reporting Center (CRC); and Interface Control Officers in the Defense Sectors during the execution and management of the Joint Multi-Tactical Data Link Network (MTN) architecture. Network complexity, large AORs, challenging terrain, and capacity issues within the MTN require a management tool that helps operators plan for the effective use of MTN capabilities.
