Infrastructure Upgrades
Abstract
Provides management of Command, Control, Computer, Communications and Intelligence (C4I) aspects of the BTS San Diego upgrade plan to maintain Fleet representative C4I configurations to support testing, troubleshooting, and Fleet operations. Includes Information Technology (IT) services in support of the Aegis Research, Development, Testing and Evaluation mission to include: IT help-desk services; portal and data services; records management; business automation services; and desktop and Special Purpose Processing Nodes (SPPNs) maintenance and licenses. In addition, replaces critical IT infrastructure at end-of-life and to implement DoD mandated projects in support of the Joint Information environment (JIE) initiative. Recurring accomplishments: - Conduct Aegis IT services such as IT help-desk; portal and data services; records management; business automation services; and desktop and SPPN maintenance and licenses - Replacement of critical end-of-life equipment - Upgrades to IT infrastructure planning and implementation efforts to accomplish DoD mandated IT Projects (JIE and DoD Chief Information Officer Information Resources Management initiatives.
