B-52 Crypto Modernization

Abstract

Upgrades aircraft with MUOS capable ARC-210 radio systems to prevent loss of BLOS voice and data communications capability. As Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) legacy channels are turned on, existing satellites will be removed from service. B-52 CONECT is at risk of losing its File Transfer Protocol (FTP), email, Beyond Line of Site (BLOS) voice, and BLOS data link communications without this modernization effort.
