Program Planning & Operations
Abstract
Program Planning and Operations provides for government management of the Targets program. Included in this effort is program and business management, program administration, technical and testing oversight, verification of hardware and software development, government manpower and infrastructure to develop, test and sustain the BMDS Targets Program Office system and components. Other Government Agency and Federally Funded Research and Development Research Centers are used for highly specialized skill sets not available internal to Targets for specific time periods. Specific yearly accomplishments include the following: -Provide technical and business management support activities, financial management, cost and schedule performance analysis cost estimation and analysis, and integration activities -Provide program management, subcontract management, quality assurance, verification of hardware and software development, and technical and testing oversight -Ensure Targets and Countermeasures program compliance with internal and external direction, policies, and regulations -Conduct Internal Program Plans that align with the MDA approved IMTP -Provide program and technical management of target launch operations activities to include oversight of mission planning, range coordination, and mission requirements
