This project comparatively tests wide-field-of-view electro-optic and infrared sensors for land and ship platforms as a complement to radar. This enables passive detection and tracking of challenging airborne threats. If successful, this technology will transition into relevant programs of record within the Navy's Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems and the Army's Program Executive Office for Ground Combat Systems.
