Family of Weapons Sights (FWS)

Abstract

FWS is a family of weapon sights that will utilize advances in thermal and image intensified technologies to produce an Individual, Crew-Served, and Sniper weapon sights operable in-line with a day optic and stand-alone mode. FWS will include fused multi-band imagery and rapid target acquisition with ballistic equations, providing the Soldier with improved capabilities during day and night operations.
