SAFETY - RISK MANAGEMENT INITIATIVE (RMI)

Abstract

RISK MANAGEMENT INITIATIVE (RMI) The RMI program is a consolidation of Navy and Marine Corps risk management requirements into a single safety system, thus eliminating the need to modify multiple legacy systems. The Navy serves as the lead for this effort with the Marine Corps providing a fair share (approximately 20%) towards the research and development of the RMI system starting in FY16. The Navy portion is funded in PE 0605013N / Information Technology Development; Project 2905.L39 / BUPERS IT
